Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT that applies. In the app, Google Play or the App Store sets the price for your country, which can differ from these. The 2-week trial for $0.99 is once per account here, and once per Google account in the Android app; in the iPhone app the trial is a month for $0.99, once per Apple ID.

Our dedicated relays

Mobile data, a café’s Wi-Fi, an office behind a firewall. When your two devices cannot connect directly, Pro carries the session through Agent Terminal’s dedicated relays, not n0’s shared public ones.

Nothing exposed

No port forwarding and no open port. Sessions run over iroh, end-to-end encrypted QUIC; the relay forwards encrypted traffic it cannot read, and every connection still ends at the desktop app’s SSH server, which accepts public keys only.

A web server on your desktop opens in your mobile device’s browser, tunneled rather than exposed to the public internet.

Away from home, the free plan relies on public relays.

Away from home, the free plan relies on n0’s public relays, a free service run by n0, not by us, with no promise of uptime or speed. Expect slow or dropped connections, or none at all. We have no control over n0’s side. n0 is the company behind iroh, the networking library Agent Terminal uses.

Your session is end-to-end encrypted: a relay passes it along but cannot read it. The relay sees both devices’ IP addresses, and n0’s lookup service records which relay each device is on.
n0 offers these relays free, with no uptime guarantee and unpublished speed limits. A relayed connection can be slow, drop, or not connect at all when they are busy or down.
n0 supports only recent versions of iroh on them. Keep Agent Terminal up to date, or remote access through them may stop working.
No relay is used on the same Wi-Fi, or whenever the two devices can connect directly.
Pro uses Agent Terminal’s dedicated relays instead. You can also run your own relay and set it on the desktop. Either way, n0’s relays and lookup service are not used: your devices find each other through the relays they share.

Do I need Pro to use the app?

Does the free plan work away from home?

Sometimes, but don’t count on it. Away from your Wi-Fi the free plan relies on n0’s public relays, which n0 runs for free, with no uptime guarantee and speed limits it doesn’t publish. When they are busy or down, remote access on the free plan may be slow or not work at all, and we have no control over that. Pro moves you onto Agent Terminal’s dedicated relays.

How does the trial work?

Choose Pro monthly and it starts with a 2-week trial for $0.99. When it ends, Pro carries on at $7 a month. Cancel any time before then, in Google Play or from Manage subscription, and nothing more is charged: when the trial ends you are back on the free plan, with best-effort remote access through n0’s public relays, and your private network access keeps working. The trial is once per account.

What is Pro Max?

The same Pro, with room for 6 computers and 12 mobile devices instead of 3 and 5: $13 a month, or $109 a year. It is one subscription, not Pro plus an extra, so it can never be billed without the plan it belongs to.

What happens when Pro ends?

You are back on the free plan: one computer, with best-effort remote access through n0’s public relays, and your private network access keeps working exactly as it does now. Nothing on your computer is deleted, and neither app is disabled in any way.

Do notifications need Pro?

No. Every plan gets push notifications, also while the app is closed, sealed to a key only your mobile device holds. They are rate-limited, and Pro raises the limit 6 times.

Can I move between Pro and Pro Max later?

Yes, from Manage subscription on your account page, or in Google Play for a purchase made in the app. Moving up starts straight away, prorated; moving down takes effect at your next renewal.

What counts as a computer or a mobile device?

A computer is a desktop or laptop with the app installed. A mobile device counts once it uses Agent Terminal’s dedicated relays. One that has not connected for 30 days stops counting against your plan on its own, so a forgotten device does not cost you a seat.

Can I cancel?

Any time. In Google Play for a purchase made in the app, or from your account page for one made here. Agent Terminal’s dedicated relays stay on to the end of the period you paid for, and nothing more is charged. After cancelling an annual plan you can ask for a refund instead: the annual price less each month you’ve started, at the monthly price. See our refund policy.

Your private network stays yours.

Every plan keeps private network access exactly as it is. If Pro ever ends, you keep the free plan, best-effort remote access through n0’s public relays included, and nothing on your computer changes.
